I really like this book, if you're at all interested in animal symbolism I recommend information technology. I like it much improve than the Ted Andrew's books. All the same, and e'er, take it with a large grain of table salt. Symbolism is a very personal thing, these are just broad guidelines. I similar the cards themselves, however they feel very cheap, I wish they really felt like real cards. They need to be thicker. I really like this book, if you're at all interested in animal symbolism I recommend it. I like it much better than the Ted Andrew'due south books. I found this lil book at an antique store in my state. I'm a reconnecting Blackfoot Indigenous woman, and so naturally I gravitate towards any reading that may help me get dorsum in touch with my culture and my ancestors. The cards weren't with the volume when I found it, just that's alright. I still frequently refer to this volume when I have reoccurring dreams or sights of a sure animate being, or fifty-fifty just to acquire more than about my favorites. I found a copy of the book at a thrift store and I bought it to use as an animal totem reference book. I find that it can be used similarly to Animal Speak by Ted Andrews, which is my favorite book of brute wisdom. Fantastic stuff! I have looked at the cards and I think they are a suitable companion. The first set I purchased as I began to piece of work with creature guides. The book and cards are an excellent resource and helpful in learning the dissimilar animal guides. Although non as extensive every bit, Beast Speak by Ted Andrews, I use both together and accept done so for over x years plus. I definitely recommend for anyone interested in working with and learning about animal guides.

This is an astonishing book that I utilise for free energy Healing sessions with clients. I love the Native perspective on the Earth, nature, creation, and ways to tune ourselves in to the examples of animals, and incorporate them into healing and medicine animals.

Love this book and cards prepare. Does a tremendous task of helping you await inside and get to know yourself deeper. If you love to apply tarot and oracle cards for transformation, this is definitely for you lot.

Carson and Sams explain what medicine is, in a very lovely style. Their information on each fauna's medicine is useful for all levels of spiritual practice. This volume is referenced in brute medicine books by other authors, such as Ted Andrews (in Animal Speak).

Well-nigh divination books start off with some capacity on the cosmology, where does the symbolism come from, what are the roots and how deep do they go. Then they move onto card spreads and the meanings of the cards. This volume follows that pattern pretty closely.
My problem with animal symbolism is that I experience and so cut off from animals as a twenty-four hour period to 24-hour interval function of my life that the book has to do a really good job grounding the symbolism of the animal. I feel like this book needs a whole volume of native myth Most divination books outset off with some chapters on the cosmology, where does the symbolism come up from, what are the roots and how deep exercise they go. So they movement onto card spreads and the meanings of the cards. This book follows that pattern pretty closely.
My problem with beast symbolism is that I experience and then cutting off from animals every bit a day to mean solar day part of my life that the book has to practice a really expert job grounding the symbolism of the animal. I feel like this book needs a whole volume of native myths of the animals to get that job done. Which information technology doesn't take, of form. At present, I'm more into Druidry, (merely starting out) and as fourth dimension has gone on, I experience the illustrations are a bit plain and bones compared to what is on offering these days.
